Annuals
Annuals are flowers that go through their whole entire life cycle in a single season. That means annual plants will go from a tiny little seed to a beautiful flower and produce new seeds all within a growing season. Annuals are wonderful editions to add to your home because you can see for yourself the plants growing and blooming before the plant system such as roots, stems and leaves perish. However, the dormant seeds will lie quietly until a new season arrives and the plants bloom again.
Perennials
Perennials are different from annuals in such a way that these plants persist for many seasons. They last much longer than annuals and will return for more than one season. During the winter months, it does appear that the Perennials have perished, but that is not the case. The top parts of the plants have died, but the roots underneath are just waiting for the sun to come back again. When spring returns, the perennials return to full bloom. An interesting fact is that some species of Perennials keep their leaves all year round, giving your property or home an attractive border and ground cover.
